Location Evaluation

The golden standard of “work smarter not harder,” should be our north star when it comes to donation pickups. When evaluating a location, several factors should be considered.
  • Where should the truck go in order to ensure the pickup is completed the in a timely manner?
  • Is the truck impeding traffic or making it difficult for other motorists?
  • If stairs are involved, is the risk of harming myself or causing property damage too great to justify moving an item?
These are just a few examples you may have to consider while on site. Remember, your safety is the most important thing. If you ever run into a situation where you feel jeopardizes your safety, do not hesitate to reach out to your direct supervisor.
