Offloading

Now that you have completed the pickup, you may think the work is done. Guess again! Now comes the easy part, offloading. The same caution and care that you used to load the truck must now be used to safely offload the truck at one of our stores or the warehouse. Communication with Thrift Store workers is vital during this process.
On any given day, we do 3-5 pickups, that’s a lot of stuff! It’s important to give the store a heads up with incoming products so they can make room to accommodate the new inventory. When storing in the back holding areas, we should always consider that more products will soon be on their way, utilizing space efficiently and storing items in a way that conserves space is key!
Remember, you can always place items on the floor as well, just communicate with the manager for the day and they will ensure that there is space on the floor for new products.
